    FAQ’s.

Please bring your physical therapy referral (provided to you by your doctor) and your payment information. If your insurance is covering the cost of physical therapy, bring your insurance card. If you are covered by Workers’ Compensation, bring your claim number and your case manager’s contact information. If you are covered by auto insurance or an attorney lien, be sure to bring this information.
You should wear loose fitting clothing so you can expose the area that we will be evaluating and treating. For example, if you have a knee problem, it is best to wear shorts. For a shoulder problem, a tank top is a good choice, and for low back problems, wear a loose-fitting shirt and pants, again so we can perform a thorough examination.
Treatment sessions typically last 30 to 60 minutes per visit.
We provide direct billing for most insurance companies. If your insurance is not listed, we can provide receipt for your claims. Should you have questions relating to your coverage it is advised you to check with your insurance provider prior to treatments. Anyone who receives a service from ParkSide Therapy is responsible for the payment of the services, regardless of the coverage granted by benefits provider. Here are some of the companies we currently directly bill to:

    Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance
    CINUP
    Cowan
    Desjardins Insurance
    First Canadian
    Great-West Life
    Industrial Alliance
    Johnson Inc.
    Johnston Group Inc.
    Manulife Financial
    Maximum Benefit
    Sun Life Financial

We do accept Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) cases. If you were injured through a MVA, please let us know when you’re booking your appointment. We require your claim and policy number, name of your adjuster and your auto insurance company. In most cases, we can bill the auto insurer directly.
Flare ups are not uncommon. If you have a flare up (exacerbation), give us a call. We may suggest you come back to see us, return to your doctor, or simply modify your daily activities or exercise routine.
No, we do not take X-rays at our clinic.
